HOW DOES IT WORK?

Specific wavelengths (such as Blue Light, Red Light and Near-Infrared Light) are absorbed by the skin to stimulate cell renewal and collagen production, resolve problem skin conditions such as acne, and redness and accelerate skin healing. It is a safe and pain-free treatment without downtime.

Following a single Flex MD session, you can expect immediate improvement in skin tone, hydration and luminosity whilst the beneficial light simultaneously stimulate deeper cell processes for longer-lasting benefits in the skin. For sensitive skin conditions, the Flex MD offers relief from redness and irritation.

FREQUENCY

The number of sessions recommended depends on a number of factors such as age, skin type, the severity of the indication, lifestyle, expectations and more. However, treatment results are cumulative, and sessions taken in close succession are generally recommended.

Generally, a course of 12 sessions at a frequency of 2 sessions per week is recommended.

Due to cell activation, results can last for several weeks following a course of treatments. However, regular maintenance treatments are advised to extend results as part of an ongoing skin health programme.

  • St John Wart if taken regularly in high doses

  • pregnancy as it has not been tested on pregnant women

  • eye disease and conditions

  • light induces migraines

  • a recent introduction to vitamin A or new skincare or TRETINOIN

  • wait 7 days after stopping for medication for/such as antibiotics, chemotherapy, rheumatoid arthritis & psoriasis, neuroleptic and anti-psychotic, anti-arrhythmic and heart conditions, retinoids oral/topical, anti-arthritic, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs,

  • which are: Tetracycline, Doxycycline, Norfloxacin, Nalidixic acid, Minocycline, Oxytetracycline, Demeclocycline, Sulfonamides, Methotrexate, Halotexate, Chlorpromazine, Trifluoperazine, Amiodarone, Isotretinoin, Roacuttane, Auranofin, Azathioprine, Naproxen, Celecoxib.
