Orange Blossom, a delicate white or pale pink flower, is harvested from the Bitter Orange tree, a small shrub native to India and introduced around the Mediterranean during the Crusades. Also known as "Néroli," named after the Princess of Néroli (a small town near Rome) who popularized its use in the 16th century. In antiquity, Néroli, a symbol of purity and virginity, traditionally adorned the crowns and robes of brides.
In Provence, Orange Blossom graces numerous desserts like gibassier, navettes, and the pompe à l'huile, a part of the thirteen Christmas desserts. Its pleasant, floral, sweet, and honeyed aroma is widely cherished.

They produce a hydrosol of rare quality through concentrated extraction and ancestral methods, ensuring intense olfactory notes, improved preservation, and a high concentration of active aromatic molecules, ensuring its exceptional quality.

Exploring the Essence and Uniqueness of Our Linden Hydrosol: A Distinctive Offering from the Southeast of France. In our unwavering commitment to preserving tradition, our producer collaborates with skilled and independent harvesters, bearers of ancestral knowledge spanning the Southeast region. Our linden harvesting is an intricate, manual process, requiring significant time and patience. Diverging from ancient practices of branch cutting for convenience, our contemporary harvest employs a traditional wooden ladder with an attached cloth pouch for meticulous collection.
Drying becomes an artisanal affair: nestled in barns for optimal ventilation, the flowers and bracts are delicately spread on clean and pre-inspected racks to prevent contamination. Stirred daily to ensure uniform drying and preserve a captivating color, the bracts and flowers typically achieve dryness in 2 to 3 days. Post-drying, the delicate flowers undergo distillation within the heart of the Vercors Regional Natural Park crafting hydrosols: our organic Linden Hydrosol comes to life.
